McLean Fletcher is an internationally recognized painter, writer, actor and filmmaker. Raised in the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, she spent her early adult life living all over the world, from NYC to LA, Miami, Asheville, DC, and Australia in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales and Melbourne, Victoria.
Her work is deeply rooted in mysticism and explores the inseparability of the natural and spirit worlds. She creates guided by a faith that art transcends death, and it is through art that the collective consciousness evolves.
McLean has a Master of Fine Arts in classical acting and Shakespeare from The George Washington University. She is also a certified Yoga instructor and Reiki practitioner, having studied in Bali, Indonesia. Her art and healing practices inform one another, holding space for the interconnectedness of the creative and wellness realms.
She now lives in Richmond Virginia where she teaches yoga, works as an actor and an acting coach, and continues to paint, write her first novel, and produce her first feature film.
